In this last month of the year we have focused above all on our country. The economy continues to limp, but there is no shortage of positive signs that allow us to look to 2026 at least with the hope of some more substantial improvements. Moreover, a historical analysis of our numbers shows that Italian growth is unsatisfactory and that productivity has been stagnant for some time. Among the many, we have tried to identify some causes that have halted the evolution of our industrial system or even led to the silent extinction of valuable skills. Unfortunately, those who are most likely to suffer from this situation are young people , those most affected by job insecurity and relative poverty. How can we reshape the path to the workforce and allow new generations to gain relevant experience and become the driving force of our future? The difficulties do not even spare families and middle-aged people, who are grappling with a financial system and a structure of credit mechanisms that continue to function as if life were unchanged thirty years ago. To conclude, an in-depth look at the fragile balances in the Far East , where conflicts continue to erupt, involving numerous actors, and at COP 30 held in Belem, amid contradictions, defections, and a lack of real initiatives in favor of the environment, which increasingly seems to be becoming a topic to be kept under wraps.
