November 3 and 4, 2025

The President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola will be in Rome on Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday, November 4th. The visit will focus on a series of institutional meetings with the capital's Mayor and former MEP Roberto Gualtieri and the leaders of Coldiretti and Confagricoltura. The meetings with agricultural stakeholders are taking place as the debate on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and negotiations for the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028-2034 are heating up in Europe.

The President will also participate in the event organized by Formiche, a political-cultural information and debate group, on Monday, November 3rd and will speak, together with Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani, at the official opening ceremony of the SIGMA Summit on the morning of the 4th.
