Following on from the success of its 'Exclusively Rosé' limited editions, the Fleur de Miraval Champagne House at Mesnil-sur-Oger (Champagne, France) today unveils 'Petite Fleur'... its brand-new creation that joins its collection of rosé champagnes.

'PETITE FLEUR', BORN OF CREATIVE TALENT
Fleur de Miraval's artistic and artisanal approach, supported by world-class expertise, has today given birth to a new champagne. Benefitting from the same skills and demanding standards as 'Exclusively Rosé', 'Petite Fleur' is a more classic and accessible version of rosé champagne. United by passion and terroir, the two champagnes - 'Exclusively Rosé' (ER) and 'Petite Fleur' - represent the expression of a common signature. With its origin in the superb crus of the chalk terroir of the Côte des Blancs, 'Petite Fleur' reveals the chalky texture and salinity that are the style markers of Fleur de Miraval champagnes.

'PETITE FLEUR', THE EXCELLENCE OF A GREAT CLASSIC
With a majority of Chardonnay, mainly from the Grand Crus of Mesnil-sur-Oger, and a touch of Pinot Noir from the neighboring premier cru of Vertus, the subtle blend of 'Petite Fleur' is thoroughly classic, in the tradition of the greatest rosé champagnes.
Made from a base of 65% Chardonnay Grand Cru 2019, 30% Chardonnay Grand Cru from the Fleur de Miraval Perpetual Reserve and 5% Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, 'Petite Fleur' is absolutely timeless.
What distinguishes it from 'Exclusively Rosé' is the absence of the "Remise en Cercle", a lesser proportion of reserve wines and its Pinot Noir made in the manner of a red wine. The nobility of its origins and its traditional vinification give 'Petite Fleur' a pure, diaphanous character of delicate elegance.

TASTING 'PETITE FLEUR': DAZZLING AROMAS AND THE PURITY OF CHALK
'Petite Fleur' opens on a magnificent bouquet of spring flowers, with notes of peony and hawthorn, interwoven with bright, luscious red fruit such as raspberry and redcurrant. The mouth is exquisitely juicy and full, illuminated with fresh, lemony citrus notes, ruby grapefruit and mandarin, and a subtly diaphanous finish. 'Petite Fleur' is the very essence of its place of origin: the magnificent terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, anchored in the noble purity of chalk.

ABOUT CHAMPAGNE FLEUR DE MIRAVAL, THE ONLY CHAMPAGNE HOUSE EXCLUSIVELY DEVOTED TO ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE
The idea of CHAMPAGNE FLEUR DE MIRAVAL sprang from the association of the Pitt and Perrin families, who had already united the wine world with that of the arts through the introduction of Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé in 2012, and a third family with roots in Champagne for six generations: the Péters family. Together, they chose to give free rein to their creativity, with no holds barred, no limits, entertaining instead all possibilities, to make a stunning rosé the likes of which no-one had ever seen before.
