THE OPENING OF A NEW WINE TOURISM SITE IN MEURSAULT, BURGUNDY
(www.enopress.it) - Arriving in Meursault from Puligny-Montrachet, those interested in wine-tasting - or simply looking to enjoy a glass of wine on a terrace with a view of the Burgundy vineyards - will now find the doors of Le Manoir des Parcellaires de Saulx open to them.
Open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10:30 am to 7 pm, Le Manoir des Parcellaires de Saulx includes:
A SHOP where you can buy wines from Domaine de La Commaraine, Les Parcellaires de Saulx and Domaine Belleville. The shop stocks 40 Burgundy appellations ranging from villages to Grands Crus.
A WINE-TASTING CELLAR as well as a wonderful terrace over-looking the surrounding vineyards. This is an idyllic spot to enjoy a glass with a friend or friends and can be hired out for events.
BESPOKE VISITS of the cellars where you can taste various Burgundy appellations.
The site is typical of the Burgundy region and dates back more than a century. It has been painstakingly renovated to preserve historic features while ensuring passing visitors can be received in style. Located on the edge of Meursault, it is in a delightful spot and offers stunning views of the village’s vineyards and those of Puligny-Montrachet, especially from the terrace. The impressive cellars cover 1,500 m2 and can also be visited; a table has been set up at the entrance to the cellars especially for wine-tasting. This is where La Maison Les Parcellaires de Saulx wines are aged. This high-end Maison, founded in 2017, offers a selection of 30 appellations covering some of the finest Burgundy, Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits terroirs.
