Dopo aver presentato i due single vineyard della linea San Clemente, e la Linea Chronicon della cantina Zaccagni, ora parliamo delle due etichette della Linea Selezioni di Marcello Zaccagnini che presenta un’interessante ed inedita presenza in terra d’Abruzzo, il Pinot Grigio.

Pinot Grigio in purezza assemblato in vasca di acciaio, sosta sui lieviti sino all’imbottigliamento con successivo affinamento in bottiglia.
Colore giallo tenue con lievi riflessi ramati. Questo vino incanta i sensi con un bouquet complesso e invitante che si apre con note floreali di biancospino e di ginestra, aromatiche di salvia e menta, cui si uniscono, in un armonioso intreccio di profumi, sentori agrumati di mandarino e pompelmo con accenni di zenzero e papaya candita.
Al palato si presenta morbido e rotondo con una vena acidula vivace che aggiunge un tocco di freschezza e vitalità all’insieme. In bocca è lineare e di grande beva fluida e piacevole, dona freschezza con tono erbaceo minerale sapido e un finale giocato su ritorni di limoncello.

Affina in tini di legno sino al suo imbottigliamento.
Colore rosso rubino intenso tendente al violaceo. Si esprime con note fruttate di frutta a bacca nera, amarene, prugne e ribes nero, completate da sfumature speziate di pepe nero, cannella e vaniglia con accenni minerali di grafite.
In bocca evidenzia una struttura vigorosa, caratterizzato da tannini armonici ed eleganti. Caldo e morbido il sorso, leggermente sapido, contraddistinto da una grande persistenza che chiude su note di liquirizia e di ciliegia in confettura.

THE SELECTION LINE BY MARCELLO ZACCAGNINI
After having presented the two single vineyards of the San Clemente line , and the Chronicon line of the Zaccagni winery, we now talk about the two labels of the Selezioni line of Marcello Zaccagnini which presents an interesting and unprecedented presence in the Abruzzo region, the Pinot Grigio.

Pure Pinot Grigio assembled in a steel tank, left on the yeasts until bottling with subsequent refinement in the bottle.
Pale yellow color with light copper reflections. This wine enchants the senses with a complex and inviting bouquet that opens with floral notes of hawthorn and broom, aromatic notes of sage and mint, which are combined, in a harmonious blend of aromas, with citrus scents of mandarin and grapefruit with hints of ginger and candied papaya.
On the palate it is soft and round with a lively acidulous vein that adds a touch of freshness and vitality to the whole. In the mouth it is linear and very drinkable, fluid and pleasant, it gives freshness with a savoury mineral herbaceous tone and a finish played on returns of limoncello.

It is refined in wooden vats until bottling.
Intense ruby red color tending towards purple. It expresses itself with fruity notes of black berries, black cherries, plums and blackcurrants, complemented by spicy nuances of black pepper, cinnamon and vanilla with mineral hints of graphite.
In the mouth it shows a vigorous structure, characterized by harmonious and elegant tannins. Warm and soft on the palate, slightly savoury, characterized by a great persistence that closes on notes of licorice and cherry jam.
