• Conference “Spotlight on Human Rights Defenders: Strengthening the Common Agenda for Protection: with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights”.

Event on the occasion of Human Rights Defenders Day and Human Rights Day , which will see contributions from EU High Representative Kaja Kallas and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk and an opening speech by Vice-President of the Parliament Nicolae Ștefănuță .

Two panels will discuss policies and mechanisms to support human rights defenders and improve the protection of those at risk.
