The estate, set in the heart of the Corbières maritimes, in a majestic, unspoilt landscape, is renowned for the quality of its wines and its wine-tasting and wine-tourism experiences. The 100-hectare terraced vineyard is spread over an 850-hectare hilly estate, where olive trees (10 hectares), oleanders, umbrella pines, cypresses and other Mediterranean trees grow side by side. Culminating at an altitude of 300 metres, it is windswept and benefits from the mildness of the Mediterranean, whose proximity tempers the summer heat.

During your visit, you'll admire the architecture and charm of the oak barrel cellar and the grandeur of the stainless steel vat cellar, before ending up in the boutique for a wine tasting. Nestling in the heart of the wilderness, Château de Lastours is a vineyard that preserves the richness of its heritage. Certified organic since 2020, it is one of the forerunners in the Languedoc.
And because a sustainable vineyard has to fit into its environment in symbiosis with nature, the team is experimenting with an ambitious pilot project for the vineyard of tomorrow. A test area in the heart of the vineyard is already being developed. The layout of the vineyards has been completely rethought, with the aim of combining the strengths of agroforestry and regenerative hydrology: plot size, planting of trees and plants, study of rootstocks and grape varieties, soil restructuring.
With this innovative project, Château de Lastours is paving the way for the vineyards of the future. This experimental area, the only one of its kind in the region, is an oasis of greenery and vines, helping to optimise natural resources.
